-what do you want-
Was about just after dinner. Strumming away on my guitar before I headed back to my books.
Electromagnetic Induction. I'm so glad I finally got it. After like forever. Almost made me hate physics.
So anyway back to the bit when I was strumming away, pretending I was Doyle Dykes in some distant, far far away universe and time. Gaww he is like the best in the world. I can't even figure out which key he plays in, though it takes me less than 10 seconds for most other guys, then i found out he plays alternate tuning. Like: C G C D B E. WHAT THE HECK IS THAT.
SO anyway coming back, was halfway in my fantasy world when my bro walks in,
"Eh when you go JC what CCA you wanna be in."
"umm.. choir..??"
"Mmmm.. that very time consuming??"
"I guess.. sometimes 6 times/week."
"Mm... then... nevermind.."
"Eh! Eh wait!! Why? why? WHY?"
"Nah I just wanted to ask if you wanted to join the Singapore Youth Flying Club."
"I can meh?"
"Why cannot?"
"Cos I wear specs wad.."
"What degree?"
"umm.. right 225 left 175.."
"Aiyah then can lah.. but since you in choir then nevermind."
"eh.."
I wanted to ask some other stuff but he had closed my room door and walked off already.
I thought about it for awhile. Finally couldn't take it.
Put down my guitar [I was already out of the fantasy world by then], went to the computer room,
"But.. will I have to skip classes like you did just to go attend and when it's bad weather and all that kind of stuff then timing become screwed up??"
"Probably.."
"and.. are there any pro's?? Like.. Can get into SIA next time not?"
"Aiyah.. these kinds of things is not.. I wanna go or not loh li loh suo wan.. You must have the interest most of all.."
I went back and pondered for awhile.. Then went to the kitchen to get some water and he was there..
"But what if I am afraid of heights??" [Don't laugh]
"Aiyah you.. [hewasprollythinking:Smallfattbugger.]
these kindsa things you must really really have the interest wan.. tell you what lah since ur already so set on choir just go for it lah.."
For awhile it made me sit and ponder..
since ur already so set on choir just go for it lah
that statement.. suddenly hit me..
alots going on right now that i wann blog but have no time for
To cut-a-long-story-short:
What am I in a cca for. Enjoyment? Fun? CCA Points?
I wanted and even thought of abandoning choir and joining the flying club all because of a better resume it'd give me should I wanna be a pilot in SIA net time. Heck they earn super duper alot ok.
But is that my passion? What have I been attending a cca the past 4 yrs for? I mean sure there were many times of goofing around and pissing the teachers off[our choir is really bad ok] and most of the time half-heartedly attending practices and half-asleep through most of them. And to top it all off I'm, or was, the student conductor. I heard in JC it's gonna be heck of alot more disciplinary.
I don't know whether to like that or to hate that. I guess I was never too happy with my choir but I can't deny the many memorable moments and friends.
wonder how different the JC choir will be. Will I hate or like it more? Guess it works both ways.
hrr.. need to go now..
What do you want? What's your passion?
heh.. guess I have to be ready to face anything.. even if it weren't for a girl..
