blur [Part One]
Well, couple of things happened these past few days.
Not everything was exactly worth rejoicing. Let me just start from friday.
This past friday was my English Prelim Paper.
I think my a1's out the window *haiz*... burr..
Anyways so after that my friends dragged me to this guys house to *play* to *relieve stress* even though I just wanted to go home cos I was tired.
Also because I had to go queue for Festival Of Praise[FOP] at 4 sth..
ANYways I had no choice but to go. Hung around his place till I realised it was ALREADY 230pm!!!!!!!!! And I had to be at Kallang MRT at 430. Well done.
So I had to rush home and a super ultra long 1 hour bus ride.
Got home, changed, didn't even have time to wash up, grabbed my bible and rushed off.
Well... I got there around 430+ so not so bad.
And here is the continuation of my worries.
Let me tell you now, that the most infrequent bus in the WHOLE of Singapore is bus no. 11 from Kallang Bus Interchange to the Indoor Stadium.
Frequency? Hourly. And I only found out on Saturday.
To cut a long story of a very long story short, we cut queue for a chartered bus that came at 5. So we got into the already very long line at about 5.15pm
Waited til 630 for doors to open before got in.
Haiz... Had lots and lots of trouble finding seats. Lucky someone booked for us.
Then FOP started.
I tell you, Delirious? rocks my sock's socks.
OHHHHHHHH YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
The preacher who's supposedly one of the best in the UK sorta fell short of my expectations but.. nvm.
Ok here comes the worst part.
After the concert ended I missed the last bus home.
I had only 4 meagre dollars with me.
Then I received a message from my sister:
"Daddy has just been rushed to A & E cos of heavy bleeding. Pls pray for him"
Can you imagine the state I was in? It was 1230++ am, I was all alone at a deserted bus stop far far away from home, my parents wouldn't be at home to pay for my cab fare, my sis had no money and neither did I, and to top it all off my dad's been rushed to A&E and I had absolutely no idea if his condition was critical or not.
That reaaaaally sucks.
