Ferrero Ro-queer?

What I Look for in a Ferrero Rocher

Have you ever eaten a Ferrero Rocher classic chocolate in more ways than one?

Or do you just take huge bites of out that succelent, chocolate-rich piece of heaven,

and chew till its smooth, nutty texture melts all over the insides of your mouth,

from the tip of your tongue to the top of the oesophagus,

smothering everything lightly with sweet, delightful cocoa bliss??

Well, now that I don't have much time to spare, and as I don't like getting too

dirty, that's how I eat it.

Did you know however, the different parts of a Ferrero Rocher chocolate?

If not, let me tell you.

Starting from the core, and working your way out, a nut is what you'd find at the centre of that little bite of heaven.

I'm not sure what nut it is, but I'm not complaining.

Next, heavily coating the nut is a thick layer of chocolate.

If you were to eat one chocolate chilled, you'd find that this overcoat is usually slightly hard(as it is semi-frozen) in your first bite, but then it melts oh-so-lovingly afterward.

Now this scrumptious bit is intricately encaved between two semi-circular wafer crusts.

Yes, not one, as i had first thought, but two.

Finally covering this crust shell, is a fine layer spread of chocolate again, with tiny nut bits placed at incommensurate intervals in the layer.

And there you have it, the layers of a Ferrero Rocher Classic Chocolate.

Four or five in all.

When I was younger, I used to love the crunchy it the most, or, the shell.

As all kids loved crunchy and sweet things anyway.

And I used to chill each piece I was going to eat till the outer coat of chocolate froze.

Upon freezing, I'd slowly dig my teeth till I reached the crust, and sort of peel of the outer coat layer of chocolate.

Yes, it can be done.

Upon completion, the light-brown crust will be left, sort of like the spherical outer-space base for Darth Vader in Star Wars.

Now at this stage, it will be very obvious that the crust is made of two hemispheres.

From here on, it is possible to lightly pry open this shell, and reveal the hard chocolate sphere inside.

What I loved to do was to eat the chocolate sphere, with the nut core inside, at one go.

Just pop it into my mouth.

Then, meticulously, as absurd as it sounds, eat the crust!!!!

Haha, and that was how I used to eat my Ferrero Rochers.

Keep in mind that if you're going to try what I did out, it might be slightly messy.

And the longer you hold/touch/bite/lick the chocolate, the faster it'll melt.

Yup yup.

Plenty of stock, so no need to hurry to get one now ;D
