You know I've realised something? No one so far calls be by my chinese name. Not primary school teachers, secondary school teachers, tuition teacher and obviously not friends. No one. For some strange reason they all address me by my english name. Some who could speak english fairly well enough pronounce my name correctly. However, there were exceptions.

-In Pri 5 the teacher called me by the name of POPI. (Pronounced: Poh-Pi)
-In Pri 6, PUOPI (Pronounced: Puoh-Phi)
-In Sec 1, umm.. hrh I can't seem to remember who taught me. Lol.
-In Sec 2. it was BUOBI ( Yes. Pronounced Buoh-Bi)
-In Sec 3. the teacher barely cared about me at all so I can't remember what she addressed me by.
-This year, I got the same teacher as Sec 2 so it's back to Buo-Bie.

My tuition teacher ever since Pri 3 has been calling me Bobby even though she calles my brother and other students by their dialect names. At least now she gets it right. I just don't unnerstand. Is my english name just so easy to remember and catchy to pronounce?? Bobby.. hmm.. bobby...

So.. thus now the class cales me BUOBI too.. esp. during chinese class.. lol.. Actually now they've modified it to BOBI (Pronounced: Boww-Bie). At least they stopped callimg me BOPI( Boh-Pi)a year ago,which sounds terribly worse. Haha...
